Belarus' Funkyjaws has done plenty of good things in the past on Craft Music, Shadeleaf Music and Kolour LTD, but now the disco-fied don is striking out on his own with a self-titled label which shows exactly what kind of jams he wants to put out. 'Tanga' is an epic beast which ranges from warm electro-disco to Latin piano chops, wriggling acid lines and onwards, keeping the mood upbeat and party-ready at all times. 'Goomh' has a slinkier feel, riding the smoothest of disco grooves and letting the Rhodes melt like butter dripping off a hot knife. It's as classy as you would expect from someone well versed in tasteful edit-rooted material.
