Pieces in a domino game
Lined up in a different way
Wait for someone to play
And knock us all out the way
Don't tap me on the shoulder
One nudge will take us over
We'll fall in silent wonder
And see the Giant's finger

And the Giant will then find that we have built a line
Ten men deep and he will cry 'cause he'll know that it is time
to live a life like that of mine and use his hands to serve us wine
And we'll have our own war cry that will sing when he gets tired

But the others will then fight 'cause they won't think that it's right
that I should lead the line and they should be left behind

So we'll plead with Giant to come back and lead the pack
And he'll accept with a smile and be real proud and jump around
But then he'll stop and look around and turn his smile upside down and we will ask him what is wrong and he will say it's been too long
So we will try and cheer him up by being quiet and lining up
Then we'll be back under the thumb and life will not be very fun

And we'll become
