Written and recorded over the course of three cloudy weekends, UV's first tape introduces listeners to a fully realized sound, one that blends traditionalist boom bap with the slushy sonics of cloud rap. Wrapping it together is the distinctive vocal styles of Odd Thomas and Blunt Prophet. OT anchors tracks with technically mesmerizing bars while Blunt Prophet rides over synths with a sly smile at all times. And on hooks they come together to make even what should read on paper as the dumbest lines stick in your head for days. The tape features acclaimed producers such as B.
