Cosmo Trails by Ephraim Giepen
Detached from gravity, the journey Into The Unknown begins with a feeling of freedom that makes the thought of a possible destination insignificant.
Deeply touched and overwhelmed by the infinite size and beauty of the cosmos, everything remains an Elusive Manifestation, beyond the limits of our imagination.
Restless in search for unity, the trail leads to a Sense Of Change - yet obscure but constant, it lies ready and waiting before us.
The EP Cosmo Trails consists of 3 tracks created during a live set recording session in the lab of Verso Musical Instruments. The tracks show different moods and build on each other conceptually. As a common thread throughout the production runs the innovative guitar Cosmo. All drums were produced from Cosmo sounds, edited and sequenced live with the Elektron Digitakt sampler.
To increase production quality, the tracks were processed for mixing (level, room, panning) and mastering. However, the sound remained close to the session. An additional video was created for each track, offering a visual insight of the live set.
