DaMa by The Ephemeral Man

On February 5th 1916, The Cabaret Voltaire was founded in Zurich and the Dada movement began in earnest: an explosion of creative exploration and critical thinking in a time of great turmoil (World War I).

100 years on and the ripples of that explosion still reverberate throughout our cultural veins.

Dada was an experiential response to the absurdity of War and the corruption of society. It was also a celebration of life, freedom of expression, and living in the moment.

100 years on, and one ripple of that perdurable explosion becomes a new wave of its own: DaMa!

On Feburary 5th 2016, The Cabinet Volta was founded in Tumblr, and the DaMa movement began in earnest: an explosion of creative exploration and critical thinking in a time of great turmoil (Planet Earth).

DaMa is an experiential response to the absurdity of War and the corruption of society. It is also a celebration of life, freedom of expression, and living in the moment.
