This album is a compilation of tracks from my creative period spanning from 2000 to 2010. Over these years, a significant amount of material had accumulated, but there was never a suitable moment for its release. I kept postponing it.
Recently, my friend and director, Kadim (Dmitro Tarasov), approached me with a request to find something heartfelt and lyrical for his new film. I am grateful that he literally pushed me to take action. As long as I have the desire and inspiration, I've completed the release and am sharing it with the world.
Each track reminds me of various life experiences, some of which were performed and recorded live, while others were featured on compilations from different labels. It's interesting how this music always makes me want to go back in time, offering a glimpse into a beautiful past that I never truly miss... maybe I'm a little nostalgic.
The drums sound quite unique - a blend of vintage drum machines and samples of live drums. When I started delving into electronic music, I was also learning to play percussion instruments simultaneously. So, I always dreamt of creating something live alongside electronics, whether it be drums, guitar, accordion, or any other instrument.
During that time, I was constantly exploring new techniques for my music composition style. I fell in love with the keys that play melodic harmonies in a circular fashion. Each track is my meditation.
