"There's an interesting melange of sounds and influences here - some Cramps-esque rockabilly guitar, some busy bass notes and a slightly post-punk overall sound. The spoken/sung female vocals are deliberately dispassionate but very effective. The guitar sound ramps up a bit for the chorus, which sounds slightly garage rock, slightly C86. There's a slightly mad instrumental section midway through, including a key-change and some B52-ish, even dub-influenced echo and guitar-bothering before we get a last chorus.
