The Sea by dead lizard grin

The room becomes the Sea -- a shivering space of recollection, a dreamed-of time both interior and infinite. As if from great distances, sounds approach, lengthening. Light slows, colors merge and stir, abandoning and suspending you within swirling geographies of eroding memories.

There are no lines upon the landscape or sky, nor any map of rhythm carving time. This is a place of slow flux, folding over, decaying, and a returning of things once familiar now somehow changed.

My youth was experienced through the sonic lens of '70s European electronic music, the ambient sounds of Eno, and the darker side of '80s new wave, post punk, and new romantic.

Today, I create the soundtrack for my life; an accompaniment for the existence that I've known.
