Mutate (E) from ArtLab1 by David Alexander McDonald
The final piece to be recorded for ARTLAB1, and of course it's the piece that saw the most work put in, from instrumentation to an epic mixing process that I thought would never end. I came close to taking out the end section at a couple of points, with the idea of making it a separate track on the next ARTLAB album, but finally left it alone.
Anyway, this swampy fever dream of an entry in the "Mutate" series is done. I hope. Does anything ever end?
