#2 Reworks by Illuminine

Almost one year ago, Illuminine released ‘#2’; the follow-up of their highly acclaimed debut album ‘#1’. This second album offered the listeners a consistent set of songs with a highly emotional character. Both albums clearly showed the distinctive language of their founding member, Kevin Imbrechts, who came to the fore as a master of melancholia.

Kevin Imbrechts now asked several musicians to reconstellate some of the songs of the second album. The result is ‘#2 Reworks’; an ambitious album which provides the listener with a varied collection of reworks by national and international artists. The music ranges from minimal organic techno to fragile ambient and from delicate solo piano to soft electro and hence shows the creative potential of Imbrecht his music.
