CONSPIRITUAL WARFARE by Conspirituality

Conspiritual Warfare was recorded between 2009 and 2014 and is still meant to be the Conspiritual successor to Ripples in the Pond, the conspiracy-themed half of the Conspirituality double-disc set released in 2009. "I Don't Believe" was the first song written and recorded for Conspiritual Warfare. DJ Extremidiz was working with Shabazz on their project "Hood Scriptures." and Ex was heading to New York to shoot some videos for the project. On his return, he had an amazing 16-bar verse and half a hook, for me to feed off of and complete. I took care of the business end, paid Baz for the feature, wrote and recorded finishing the track and somehow managed to book a We Are Change New York event that also featured Mortal Technique and Wise Intelligent on September 11th, 2009.

I lined up a videographer, Stu Ray aka Stuey Kubrick, one of Vancouver’s finest, to accompany me to NY to link with Shabazz in BK all the way from B.C Canada so we could shoot a video for "I Don’t Believe." On the day of the show filming in Manhattan, we randomly ran into Luke Rudkowski, whom I had already been in contact with since I was a member of We Are Change Vancouver and Vancouver’s 9/11 Truth Movement. This is how Luke ended up getting a cameo in the video, which was a pleasant addition and, let's be honest, more synchronistic than random. That night at the show, I would find out later that CBC was there shooting for an episode of the Fifth Estate titled "The Unofficial Story," and 10-20 seconds of my performance of "Ambushed" would make the episode. I briefly met Payday Monsanto that evening, who would eventually also make it on Conspiritual Warfare, but more on that and him further down in the story. The next day, or should I say night, we would pretty much start and finish filming "I Don’t Believe" with Shabazz in Redhook Brooklyn and in downtown NY where the Twin Towers once stood.

On our way home, I got a text just before boarding our plane at JFK airport from Hell Razah, who, along with Shabazz, were both founding members of the Wu-Tang Clan 90’s affiliate group, first called Da Last Future and would eventually become known as Sunz of Man. He and Baz had formed a new group under the name T.H.U.G Angelz and he was interested in building and working on a few tracks. Once home, I immediately started writing "Tell Ya Right Now" featuring Zaddik Melchizedek, which would be the next track to be finished up for Conspiritual Warfare. Also, Razah and I had started building and he had sent me a beat and a concept that would turn out to be the foundation for our track "Spiritual Warfare." Since I felt I had a lot to prove and wanted to impress him, I wrote my verse first, setting the tone for his already suggested concept. I still have all our emails and he was more than impressed. I remember he said, "Wow, we need to open up a museum for our lyrics alone. You need to do shirts with verses on them." He quickly wrote his masterpiece and turned his lyrics in, and we immediately, along with Shabazz, started working on "Power of the Trinity." Once again, I set the tone by handing in my lyrics, and both of them, being that the topic was right up their alley, soon followed suit, and the rest is history.

Then the unthinkable happened. Not even 30 days after receiving Razah’s verse, in April 2010, he suffered a brain aneurysm and fell into a coma. I can still remember getting the devastating news from Shabazz when he called and told me what had happened.

I decided to hold off on any planned releases until Razah got better or at least until I could speak with him. Keeping him in my thoughts, I continued to write, and next up was "Terrorist Chick." Instead of writing about myself, I took a few bars I already had and rather than saying things like "I am" or "I'm," I decided to go with "I need" and "I want." In one evening, once I started, my anthem for all the freedom-fighting truther lionesses was complete.

While sitting in a bus depot waiting for my bus to show up for a trip I was taking to San Diego, I laced my verse for "G.O.D" and emailed it to Zaddik before I jumped on my bus. I was heading to link up with Mark Dice, who had written about us in two of his books, and I was cleverly shown reading one of them in my "Bohemian Rap City" video. I was heading to visit a girl I had been long-distance dating who happened to live close to him.
After returning from shooting some video with Mark in the regular fashion that he was accustomed to, me being a fake cameraman from Fox News and him being a journalist asking Americans how they felt about the Brooklyn Bridge being sold to the Chinese and filming him purchase a Jack in the Box sandwich with a solid gold coin, lol, I arrived back in Canada after my trip.

I wrote my verse for "Bankster Bankster" after reading a book I purchased while in San Diego called "The Creature from Jekyll Island" and sent it to Payday Monsanto, who was ironically dating a girl who, in 2008, Zaddik and I had met and knew from crossing Canada with the Vancouver 9/11 Truth movement when we marched on Ottawa to demand an investigation into the Canadian deaths that had occurred when the Towers were hit on Sept 11th. I don’t recall how they met, but Payday was now living in Vancouver, British Columbia for a brief moment. He was inspired by my verse and really felt Big Brother’s production, so it did not take him long to drop his verse and hook to create an amazing song and collaboration. In my opinion, he is still one of, if not the best at what we do that I have had the privilege of knowing and working with.

Last but not least, the final track I wrote for the album that would eventually become known as Conspiritual Warfare was "Great is the Mystery." This was done while out of town working 15-hour days in the snow and below-freezing temperatures while walking for many km carrying and dropping cables for a seismic company ironically called Tesla. It came to me quickly since I had much time daily while working and being one with my thoughts.

But somehow, before I could say that I was complete with the album, a promoter friend said that he had to go to the airport and pick up a hip-hop artist who was opening for a member of the Wu-Tang Clan at a show he was helping throw. He said it was Killah something. Next thing you know, I was in a car heading to the airport, and that is how Killah Priest ended up being on "Spiritual Warfare" and "The Paranoyd Spiritual Warfare Remix" in 2014.

The project was then shelved until 2024 and if you are reading this, you are probably asking yourself why it took 10 years to finally come out

Why so long you ask?

Well, it turns out that in January of 2011, roughly 8 years after we coined the term, originally to describe an event we were throwing that we called an Evening of Conspirituality followed by my first official album release under the title Gemineye presents An Evening of Conspirituality. The term Conspirituality was stolen by two academics who wrote a journal on contemporary Religion under the header, "The Emergence of Conspirituality”. Meanwhile at the same time, one can only assume that it was connected to the authors of the paper our Wikipedia page was hijacked and completely rewritten without mentioning us or our music. We were replaced by the likes of David Icke, Russel Brand and JP Sears and the definition and meaning we created was flipped upside down to demonize truth seekers, freedom fighters, pretty much anyone who does not accept the mainstream narrative.

Even though we are cited in the journal briefly as the “inventors” of the word (Their words not ours) the Wikipedia page now reads that the two authors coined the term and created its meaning. To add insult to injury in 2018 a podcast decided to continue the blasphemous smear campaign, and even wrote a book entitled Conspirituality.

Now it must be said that they also gave us a brief mention on their website, that a Canadian hip-hop group from Vancouver B.C, was the first to use the term, and that is what makes the next part so strange. They now claimed anybody who was involved in using the term was a follower of QAnon and supporter of Donald Trump (lol We are Canadian) and should be considered extremely dangerous because they do not trust science, they are disinformation providers, against vaccinations, racists, far right-wing extremists and zealots

I now had enough and vowed to forever remain in a state of “Conspiritual Warfare” hence the name of the album, and would not stop until the Truth finally came out
