I have been so excited for this release for so long it seems unfair - it’s a split album most people can only dream of landing. One on side, we have HUNT, the neo-soul electronic duo from Tallinn, Estonia, of Brigitta Davidjants & Hannaliisa Uusma, with Kristin Pärn collaborating on visuals for live performances and releases. Their music makes you move, keeps your spirits high, and is just cool, man. Music-laid-over-a-dance-party-in-a-movie kind of cool. On the other side, we have the musical debut from New Mysterian, the duo consisting of Steph Cole & Brigitte Benecke, with Katie Haegele often collaborating as songwriter, the new future femme mystics of Philadelphia, featuring a heavy dose of dance and positivity. This is the grooviest release I’ve had yet, so put on your dancing shoes, whether out on the dancefloor or alone in your bedroom <3
