Stardust from Stardust by Circuitdelic Sound System

This track was inspired by a wonderfully curated collection of celestial imagery. The instrument is a laser light directed at a solar cell to produce an electrical current. The electrical current is converted to audio and run through various effects. The path of the light is altered using a DC motor with various attachments. This allows the creation of pitch and rhythm.

Circuitdelic Sound System is an experimental multimedia music project. It is part of a larger project named Circuitdelic Laboratory where other experimental work in the areas of sound visualization with Laser Light, Cymatics, etc. as well as Sculpture, and Photography, and occiasionally written word.

Works under the title Le Torqued Boy or Penny Dreadful pre-date Circuitdelic Sound System.
