Blending cultures and musical traditions, Soraya is a colorful painting: a middle eastern melody laid over jazz harmonies, powered by a Peruvian chacarera groove in 3/4.
The track features renowned oud player Thomas Konstantinou, who gives an exceptional performance adding character through his virtuosity.

Christos' band “Manhattan Vibes” has appeared at many of NYCs cutting edge venues including the Blue Note, the Jazz Standard, Smoke Jazz Club and Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola. Recent highlights include performances with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis, a US tour with the Charles Mingus "Epitaph" Band, recordings with vocalists Chaka Khan, Christy Baron, Jovanotti, Dimitra Galani.
