Headphone Explorations by Chris Oliver

The day after The Solar System broke up, I started working on the music that would become this album.
I wasn't sure the direction the album would take but after completing the first song. The path was laid out.
It's an instrumental record but is also a concept record, Sonically speaking. I'm very interested/influenced by
the early stereo panning techniques of the 1960's early 1970's I.E. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa etc etc
I wanted to create an album that swirls around you. Putting on your headphones, having the sounds jump around your ears.
I had a lot of fun making this album and I hope you have fun listening.
This album is dedicated to my dog Tator who sadly passed away shortly after the completion of this album.
His crazy Pug noises have been scattered through out my music over the past 5 or so years.
His last contribution to my music can be heard on the song "Jaillotto"
I love and miss you so much!
