The Mixtape by Chris del Camino

This mixtape is a journey through time, vibes, and the walls of my studio informally dubbed the "Squirrel Hut" in Novato, CA—a place that became my creative sanctuary during one of the most unpredictable eras of our lives. Mostly created between 2020-2024, this collection represents the heart and soul of what I’ve been crafting, often in solitude (but sometimes co-writing on Zoom :), during "the pandemic years". It’s a soundtrack to resilience, growth, and experimentation.

You’ll hear the funk, the indie pop, the reggae grooves I’ve always loved, but also touches of hip hop, reggaeton, electronic, and dub—genres that reflect my musical influences and tastes. Each track is a piece of that story, tied together by a common thread: the way music carried me and connected me to you, even when the world felt disconnected.

As I say goodbye to my time creating in Novato, this mixtape is my love letter to that chapter of life. It’s a culmination, but it’s also a launch pad for what’s to come. I hope you enjoy the variety of sonic and lyrical moods I've crafted for you!
