작년에 저는 만나이로 스무살이 되었습니다. 동시에 생애 최초의 정신병 진단을 받았습니다. 조울증이라네요. 중2때부터 알고있었기 때문에 놀라지는 않았습니다. 딱히 느낀게 있다면 안심이었네요. 지난 7년동안 아무것도 문제가 있는 것도 아닌데 이렇게 살아왔다면 그건 큰일이니까요.

제 주변에는 정신적으로도 환경적으로도 여러가지 힘든 일을 겪으며 살아가는 친구들이 많습니다. 저도 딱히 좋은 가정에서 자란건 아니지만 그들을 위로해주려고 노력합니다. 친구들이 자살하고 싶다고 말할때 저는 그저 이렇게 말하고 싶습니다: "모두, 살아줘." 14살때의 저에게도 똑같은 말을 하고 싶습니다.

제가 어렸을때 "아동삭제 기록부"라는 앨범을 만든 적이 있습니다. 외롭고 슬프고 화가 난 소녀가 부른 이기적인 노래들이었지만 사람들이 들어주고 공감해주었습니다. "모두 살아"라는 이 앨범은 그 앨범을 계승하는 작품입니다. 이번에도 이기적인 노래를 부르고 싶었지만 타인의 감정을 인식하고 만들었습니다.

음악을 가지고 세상을 바꾼다던가 그런 가식적인 일은 하지 않으려고 합니다. 이런 노래는 그냥 제가 표현하고 싶은 것들이 있고 어떤 분들이 그런게에 공감한다고 말해주셔서 쓰는 것일 뿐입니다. 딱히 하고싶은게 한가지만 있다면 제가 만든 음악이 누군가에게 위로가 되주고 응원이 되준다면 좋겠다는 심정만 있습니다.

우리 모두 이런 X같은 세상에 살고있는데, 우울증이 있지 않은 사람들이 오히려 더 이상해보이는 세상입니다.

이번 앨범은 제 음악을 응원해주는 여러분들에게 무언가 진실한 것이 닿아서 마음을 위로해주고 "죽고싶다"는 생각을 잠시만 그만 두고 "삶을 아름답게 살고싶다"라고 생각하시기를 원해서 만들었습니다. 그런 분들을 위해서 이 앨범을 받칩니다.

이 소음 속에는 조그마한 고백들이 담겨있습니다. 여러분도 빈 공간에 여러분만의 고백을 노래하실 수 있습니다. 감사합니다.

Last year, I turned 20. That same year, I also received my first ever mental illness diagnosis. Bipolar disorder. I knew it since I was 14, so it didn't come as a shock. If there was anything I particularly felt, it was relief. If it had been that I was completely normal during those 7 years and my life was still like that, then that would've been troublesome.

I'm surrounded by friends who are, mentally or environmentally or both, going through some tough times. I wasn't born to a particularly nice household myself, but I try my best to comfort them. When my friends tell me they want to commit suicide, I want to tell them: "Please, everyone. Live." I wish I could've told my 13 year old self the same thing.

When I was young, I made an album called "Childhood Erasure Logs". They were selfish songs sung by a lonely, sad and angry girl, but people listened to them and related to them. This album called "Everyone, Live" is an album succeeding that one. They are also selfish songs, but this time I wanted to be aware of other people's feelings.

I try not to do such pretentious things as trying to change the world through my music. I just write these songs because I have things I wanna express, and some folks tell me they relate to it. If there was something particularly I do wanna achieve, it's for my music to comfort someone's heart and become a source of support for them.

We're all living in this messed up world - it can seem like the people without depression are the abnormal ones.

I made this album because I wished for it to reach my friends, and all of you, and speak to something genuine, to comfort your heart, to make you stop thinking about dying for a brief moment, and to make you want to say "I want to live a beautiful life." I dedicate this album to such people.

Inside these noises, little bits of confessions are contained within. You can sing your own confession during the empty parts in-between. Thank you.
