PL: Legendarne rytmy z regionu Hamana w Gwinei zwane też "tańcem silnych mężczyzn", które pełniły niegdyś funkcję ustalania hierarchii i rozstrzygania sporów pomiędzy generacjami mężczyzn w wioskach Malinke, są do dzisiaj jednym ze światowych skarbów polirytmii, absolutnym źródłem sztuki jazzowej. Na płycie wykonujemy połączenie trzech rytmów: Dunumbe (Kon), Bada oraz Bolokonondo - w podziękowaniu dla naszych przyjaciół, muzyków wioski Sangbarala, gdzie muzyka ta powstała i gdzie odnaleźliśmy swój
dom w Afryce.
ENG: A legendary rhythm from the Hamana region of Guinea and also known as "the dance of strong men " , Dunumbe served as a way to establish hierarchy amongst men and settle disputes between generations in Malinke villages. Today it is one of the world's treasured polyrhythms, the absolute source of what we today call Jazz. On the album we perform three rhythms: Dunumbe (Kon), Bada and Bolokonondo - which are decidated to our dear friends and musicians from Sangbarala village, where this music was created and where it found its home in Africa.

The CBB Ensemble is inextricably linked with Poland's first school of West African music and dance - City Boom Boom, which was founded in 2003 by Wojciech Peczek. The secret to this group's longevity is without doubt, its love for music in its purest form. The group combines world music and jazz with west african rhythms, forming the background to their spectacular dance performances.
