Vientos Arcaicos by Calyx

From the mist-veiled peaks of the Pyrenees emerges Vientos Arcaicos, the first full-length chapter in the journey of CALYX—a vision of medieval black metal woven from the echoes of a forgotten age. Originally forged in the depths of Moontower Studios in 2018 and unveiled in 2019, this album is a reflection of our passion for ancient lore, Iberian legend, and the raw spirit of black metal. Years later, its spectral winds still carry the whispers of those early days, echoing through the ruins of time.

Vientos Arcaicos invites the listener into a soundscape of crumbling strongholds, torch-lit corridors, and windswept battlements. The cold breath of history lingers in each riff, carrying the weight of lost eras and forgotten wars. Created with sincerity and reverence for the past, this album blends searing tremolo melodies with dungeon-born atmospheres, always striving to capture the mysticism and intensity that first inspired us.

The dungeon doors creak open once more, and the winds rise again. Vientos Arcaicos is here for those who still heed the call of forgotten ages.
