Blue Quarantine by Call Me Robot
"Blue quarantine" is the soundtrack of a future (already present), in which human beings have become robots enslaved by indecent jobs and besieged by a monster who harasses them, looking for victims in a deserted city.
Who is this nameless monster? Is it a lethal virus or maybe just the representation of our fears, our loneliness?
Blue quarantine refers to solitude indeed: recorded remotely and without contacts, for a future without gigs and without audience.
It was recorded with two smartphones: the only human contact tools in a world that is both eternal and ephemeral, increasingly invisible.
Blues and electronics, soul and machine to tell the stories of a humanity in this spiritual quarantine.

Call Me Robot is a synth-blues project born in 2018 in Cagliari from the ashes of U-Robot (synth punk band)
and a raw street blues project (Black Lodge Juke Joint). Call Me Robot combines Mississipi Delta's juke joint with modern
suburban raves: a Delta-Disco trip in the mind of a bipolar DJ, along with video projections where natural
and artificial overlap, showing human race becoming robots
