Eden from Eden by Bow Thayer and Perfect Trainwreck

Forty three miles east of nowhere.
I met two snakes who were joined at the tail.
Two my amazement I tried not to stare.
They sensed I was guilty and re-coiled in fear.

I asked “Where is Eden? I would like to go there.”
They hissed back in unison, “You’re already there.”

The bomb was a big one and it shattered
the dawn through the eve splitting atom.
By the light of the last flame,
they bombed down Eden one more time again.

Well, that’s a great story, the worst I have heard
there used to be flowers and rivers and birds.
Who is to blame for this vision of hell?
You and me brother and everyone else.
Have you any advice before I say farewell?
Be good to your mother, don't pick fights with yourself.
