Showed in Melbourne and in Darwin in Surat and Woollamaloo
seen big crowds and seen some small ones

the only audience for miles were the blanky Kangaroos
been bogged for days just out of Winton did a diff just near Pine hill
Rolled a truck at Bogantungan on Drummond ranges steepest hill
Through this country's driest weather through dust storms and sleet and snow
everybody sticks together when their traveling with the show

trying to keep this show a moving over roads that are so rough

I've had other occupations but it's the only job I know
the city lights the outback stations are part of traveling with the show
you ask me if I'll ever settle well the answer isn't hard I guess I will still be singing on the day I cash my card
