Before The War was formed in Fredericton NB by guitarist Camilo V. and drummer Jason Sonier in spring 2013. Their first notable performance was an enthusiastically received set at Evolve 2014, which drew attention from promoters in Atlantic Canada's independent music circuit. Before The War closed 2014 with regular shows around The Maritimes and the release of "Tip," their first recorded work.
