We swear this album started with nothing but a broken accordion, three bottles of rakija, and memories of our grandparents' village celebrations.

*Gvozdeni Karneval* (Iron Carnival) is our thunderous love letter to the chaotic beauty of Balkan street parties – where strangers become family by dawn and every song demands your body to move.

This collection follows one wild night through a Serbian village, from the first trumpet blast under the "Midnight Mulberry" to the exhausted, triumphant embrace of "Shirts Untucked" as the sun rises. Between those moments? Pure brass-fueled madness.

Our tubas and trumpets chase each other through alleyways in "Dash of Pepper," while "Tavern Kings" captures that glorious moment when everyone's had just enough rakija to believe they own the place. We've poured everything into these tracks – the sweat-soaked energy of our live shows, melodies that have echoed through Romani caravans for generations, and rhythms that refuse to let you stand still.

During recording, our clarinet player's grandmother visited the studio and said the brass section reminded her of the village brass band that played at weddings after WWII – guys who'd turn tractor parts into instruments if they had to. That's the spirit we wanted to capture – music that survives, celebrates, and refuses to be polite.

Some songs jump between Serbian, Romani and English – just like conversations at our family dinners. In "Hearts Like Whiskey," we share those bittersweet stories of loves won and lost on dance floors across the Balkans.
