Twilight from Balearic 4 by J-Walk
Faithfully retaining the vibe of the classic Maze instrumental from 1981 whilst also bringing it bang up to date takes some doing, but this stroke-of-genius remake from Manchester's J-Walk nails it with ease. It retains the spirit of the original, but makes space for a more rocking alternative, the second half ramping things up with more than enough verve and originality to let this track stand on its own.
