HOLOGRAM by AURA - LUCA PEDRONI & MASSI GUSMINI

Hologram is the second album of the post-ambient duo Aura. The project was born from the collaboration between the guitarist Luca Pedroni and the producer of electronic music Massimiliano Gusmini. Recorded at “Laboratorio di Sperimentazione Sonora Niton” Barasso (VA), the album was born from creative improvisation and from the sound research of the two artists. Everything starts with the sounds of Pedroni's guitar, recorded and sampled on different tracks with numerous effects and supporting synths. The songs are developed on the thickening and thinning of sound layers, filtered and enhanced by the use of Gusmini's electronics. The result is an enveloping, meditative, enigmatic and almost hallucinatory journey. Holograms suspended in a tense, static and crystallised time, settled in otherworldly ambience. The album is an impressionistic work, with great depth, dark shades and dreaming landscapes, always with the constant aim to find new exciting soundscapes.
