Arell opens its doors wide for its first split release. Back to back tracks from Salford Electronics and Dead Flying Squirrel Flying respectively, music for late night dystopian discos in abandoned shopping centre carparks.

"After hearing a preview of Salford Electronics' track I wanted to carry on the theme - playing with the idea of 'Good times, bad times' etc. in a sort of Exquisite Corpse style experiment. I think this JG Ballard quote from The Waiting Grounds sums it up: "The next hour in the cabin was going to be difficult cooped up with a maniac eager to tear the stars apart." These are The End Times. Enjoy."

Arell is a label based on some simple ideas.
We release albums and EPs compiled as single tracks (so the music is experienced as the artists intended) and downloaded via a code printed on the back of a unique black & white postcard. With each new release a library of diverse music and a gallery of textured black and white imagery will begin to form.
