Friend from Smiling by Angie Haze

The third song, a ballad, stops the listener in their tracks. While Haze is no stranger to abandonment, “Friend” was created out of heartache and disappointment in again, losing someone dear to her. With the underline question of ‘why’, the haunting and rawness of this song makes it sound as
though even the piano is crying. Little did she know, this part of her story was far from over. With the opening line, “How do I sit here alone?”. She’d soon be forced into that daunting reality again after the creation of this EP. But it’s that very question that has sparked an awakening in her now.
