Going on a gator hunt
Gonna catch a big one
I’m not scared
Long tail
Rough scales
And a mouth full of big, sharp teeth

Uh oh! . . . a pond . . . a slimy, grimy pond
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’ll have to swim

Uh oh! . . . a forest . . . a wrangly, tangly forest
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’ll have to climb through

Uh oh! . . . a swamp . . . an icky, stinky swamp
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’ll have to walk through

Uh oh! . . . Long tail . . . Rough scales . . . And sharp teeth . . .
It . . . must . . . be . . . an . . . ALLIGATOR!
Quick! Out of the swamp
Through the forest
Through the pond
There’s your driveway
Open the door
Close it! Lock it! Whew!
See ya later alligator!
