Stars by Andrew Huang
Several years in the making, Stars is a feel-good pop/rap album with electronic and funk influences sprinkled in. Some of the songs were written during a year spent abroad, and the lyrics speak to that experience - no phone plan, meeting new people, grappling with what "home" means, and being ready for anything to happen. But the message that permeates the whole album is empowerment: The rest of your life is open ahead of you, so reach for the stars.
