This is a south Italian song, somewhere from the region of Puglia or Campania, about attraction and seduction. Three young women are washing their clothes at a fountain, when a man on a horse passes by. He asks the most beautiful one to come with him, and puts her beside him on his horse. Halfway the ride, he asks for a kiss. She refuses, but only because her mother is near, and therefore she tells him to come back tomorrow. The end of the story is not revealed!
