ICS is short for Immersion Composition Society, in which music creators attempt to write as many songs as possible in the course of one day, then share the results with similarly-engaged creators at the end of the day.
I'd just been at my dying dad's side, he got better and I came back to Seattle after an intense week. I have a book of poetry by Pablo Nerunda, never opened until the other day. Opened at random, those poems told my destiny. I set 6 of them to music.
