Any of you out there, People Pleasers? I see you! I kinda grew up in a family of people pleasers (love you fam, I really do) so it’s taken me a while to shake it from my life. Usually stemming from great insecurity and the need to be valued and liked, it can get you in all sorts of trouble. I also happen to have a lot of friends who identify as People Pleasers too and so I wrote this for all of us. It was written in about an hour when I was a member of the I heart Songwriting Club run by the incredible Francesca De Valance. If there are any songwriters out there wanting to find more flow in your writing, I’d highly recommend this program.
