Aasma’s debut album serves as a portal between the listener and nature.
"Campfire" by Aasma is a present and organic album recorded in cottages and forests around the country, with the aim of creating thoughts and conversations about what humanity needs to liberate itself from in order to find its core.

Follow the sound of voices and guitars into the woods and sit down by the crackling campfire for songs and stories.

In Aasma's album/sound art piece "Campfire", which begins with a forest meditation, the listener is taken to the forest, the sea, and the campfire along with a group of storytellers, musicians, and mystics. There, we dare to stop for a moment and reflect on humanity's relationship with nature and our innermost core - how do we find our way back when we are lost?
The album, recorded in cottages and community centers around the country, is stripped down and based on the voice, community, campfire as a gathering place, and not least the acoustic guitar - which characterizes all the tracks that transport us on foot between different places.
It is as much a striking and unifying sound art piece as an album of songs. A breath of fresh air to connect with our wakeful gaze, in symbiosis with the soul's open senses. "I wanted to work with as few elements as possible, but also with as much quality and thought behind it as possible," says Aasma. "What is central to the campfire? It's the guitar, people singing along, a good hangout, and present energy. That's exactly what I want this recording to convey."

Aasma is a being on a mission to reconnect humanity with nature. Secretive and mysterious in a way that we don't know much about the history behind - Aasma operates in the service of art and nature - yet manages to touch something profound in most people who cross Aasma's path.
