LOZENGE formed in Houston in 1992, re-formed in Chicago in 1996, and remained active in shuddering fits and starts through 2005.
With an instrumentation of electric accordion, analog synthesizers, bass, and four-handed junkyard percussion, the music of LOZENGE flails in the perimeters of postpunk rock excess.
